The Place Bertrand Housing Initiative is a universally designed affordable housing initiative in Winnipeg. Completed in 2008, Place Bertrand is managed with support from Ten Ten Sinclair Housing Inc. This housing initiative won the City of Winnipeg Accessibility Award for its cutting-edge Universal Design. The universal accessibility at Place Bertrand is key to promoting an integrated community that is inclusive for all tenants.
Place Bertrand has 20 units geared to low and medium-income households. It was constructed with a number of different bungalow-style layout options.
Place Bertrand has:
4 – One Bedroom Bungalow Units
10 – Two Bedroom Bungalow Units
6 – Three Bedroom Bungalow Units
